James MacKinnon - Managing Director

Prior to starting Striker, James co-founded 50 Lessons, the world’s leading online video business library, an award-winning resource of over 1,500 insightful ‘lessons learned’ films from successful CEOs, used by over 500 organisations worldwide. 50 Lessons was sold to Skillsoft Inc in 2011. In his 20+ year career in film & television, as well as producing live music events, extreme sports programmes, and travel films in over twenty countries – he has delivered video projects for clients including IBM, Virgin Atlantic, Manpower, Eli Lilly, A&T, The Economist & The New York Times.


Becky Paige

Becky Paige - Editor

Becky brings over 20 years of production, shooting and editing experience to the team. Becky is a Northeastern University graduate, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism. She started her career in the world of 24-hour TV news and then made the move to production houses. She is happiest when she’s immersed in editing. Becky is a life-long athlete and has qualified for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii multiple times. If she isn’t editing she’s out training for her next big race.

Alan Boyd - Cameraman/Director

Originally from Canada, Alan is a shooting director and cameraman who has worked in Audio/Video production in London for over 20 years now. With experience filming across the globe, and with people from all walks of life, including major celebrities and Fortune 500 executives, he works well with a team or as an individual to deliver the content clients need. Alan is also a musician; he composed the score for the Day of the Triffids (BBC), and continues to play music at any opportunity.


Jenny Poulter - Senior Producer

Having started her career in the advertising industry, Jenny became a reporter for Campaign magazine in 2001. She joined 50 Lessons as Head of Editorial in 2004. In that role, and in subsequent projects for Economist Education, she has produced interviews with literally hundreds of business leaders. Jenny was until recently Vice Chair of The Knot, a collaborative network of curious leaders who like to look at life through a wider lens. A big advocate for getting more females into the STEM subjects, Jenny is also a Fellow of the RSA.


David Byrne - Motion Graphics

David Byrne is a motion graphics designer based in London. He has a BA(Hons) in Graphic Design from Leeds Metropolitan University. David has over 10 years experience in the industry and has worked with many large brands including Virgin, Barclays, Peroni, Grolsch, Vodafone, Coutts, Deloitte, William Hill, Chivas, Dove, Facebook, Ford & Cancer Research UK. When not animating things, he is normally found reading comics, watching Star Trek or taking his dog Basil for a walk.


Conor Connolly - Director of Photography

Since graduating from The National Film and Television School, Conor has spent 25 years shooting all aspects of the industry, from commercials to music videos, documentaries such as The South Bank Show, Imagine and The Culture Show, to food series with Gordon Ramsay, Nigel Slater and Tom Kerridge, as well as dozens of projects around the world for a wide variety of broadcasters and corporate clients. Conor is also a part-time member of the BAFTA documentary selection panel.


Mat Rhodes - Digital Artist and Filmmaker

Mat is a digital artist, filmmaker and creator of the White Dolemite universe. With some 20 years working experience within the creative and film industries, Mat’s retro approach to artwork and style has become readily recognisable and sought after throughout ever-widening creative circles. His portfolio takes in numerous disciplines ranging from the distinct poster design that has gained him a global notoriety, through to film writing, production, design and editing. Mat’s reputation certainly goes before him, its path being chiselled from the fact that he will not shy away from the risqué, offering nothing but challenging and on occasion, controversial work.


Charlie Denholm - Editor

A graduate of Edinburgh University in Spanish & Philosophy, Charlie moved down to London six years ago and has been editing ever since. He has worked with BBC 3 for shows 'Josh' and the upcoming 'This Country', as well as providing additional online content for BBC Woman's Hour, plus a variety of different projects ranging from short films to music videos and documentaries. Outside of work, Charlie fills his time with going to the cinema, swimming and playing with his band.

Eliane Lazzaris - Editor

Originally from Brazil, Eliane has broadcast credits including BBC, Sky, ITV, CNN & Al Arab TV and the History Channel. She focuses on storytelling with an ability to seek, collect and capture the small nuances of visual detail in human expression that conjure human emotion for the viewer. Eliane's editing experience is in observational documentaries, travel and history, and experimental films. Eliane's personal projects combine directorial and editing output with the desire to hear and share stories, especially those relevant to the lives of women.
